3. Pro Checklist: Safe Automation in Production

Before you run any destructive script, check these first:

• All critical VMs have strict, verified tags

• Protected names/tags are enforced in every delete script

• Script makes a backup before deleting anything

• Manual “unlock” or approval file required

• You always see a preview and confirm YES before anything is deleted

• You’ve tested backup and restore recently
